A Little More About Me...

Like I said, my name is Penny. I am a traveling wedding, elopement and intimate portrait photographer. I am Rocky Mountain born & raised (conceived somewhere in the LaGarita Wilderness in a VW bus, I know... TMI). We found our way to Alaska and now I'm hooked. I call both Alaska & Colorado home. Each year you will find me shooting from the last frontier to the wild west, coast to coast, and on occasion, even over the pond.  I am a nurturer; the mother of 5 grown children and proud Nonni to 13 little works of wonder. I am stupid-in-love with the best man I've ever known (my husband of 33 years, Bill). I choose to be generous with my assumptions of others. I am quick to forgive and 'TMI' takes on new meaning when you are my friend. I don't do shallow very well and I have no secrets.  I have spent decades as a couple's mentor and certified life coach because I value the strength and beauty found in relationship and seeing people thrive.  I love to 'do life' alongside true friends and cherish time spent with genuine hearts. I view the world as a glorious indulgence... of course I want the whipped cream & sprinkles on that! I love hiking with my Beloved and our sweet old lab, Laci.  I am quick with 'she-said jokes'.  I love wine and choose bottles based on how cool the labels are. Mountains make my spirit come alive.  Road tripping, camping, and hiking with my hubby are my idea of a great time. I document the beauty of love and life.  How lucky am I?!

As one of my couples; you are genuine. You are wild-hearted. You don't mind getting lost, sometimes. You are creative, mindful, sentimental, hopeless romantics & you are prone to wander. There's a good chance you have a thing for nature and you may smell like campfire smoke.

You are each other's happy thought. When no one else in the world laughs at your jokes, you can trust that your someone will be giggling. You look into the future and can only see your fingers entwined with one another's.  You have big dreams, fantastic plans, and your partnership was made to move mountains.
